We’re just about to start the 30 Days Wild Challenge – and it sure can be a challenge to find something Wild to do every day for 30 days. But it can make a huge difference to your life. And, you know what, when you make your own life better you really, actually do help make everyone’s and everything’s life better too!
An old adage I grew up with says … you cannot change anything but yourself but when you change yourself you see the world change around you.
There’s a helluva lot in those few words! I’ve done my best to follow them all my life but it sure ain’t easy; and that reminds of what Dad used to say about life … life is very simple but nobody said it was easy!
Gee! Heck! Sounds like I’m talking about really hard stuff. Do you really want to go on reading this? Yes, you do 😊
Because it really works to make your life better. And everyone else’s.
So … 30 Days Wild. Do you already do it? Are you thinking about having a go this year? Are you busy? When you get home, stop work, do you have a myriad of things to do? And who’s going to do them if you head out for a walk?
Being a home-mum can be even worse. Does your day ever stop? Likely you feel it doesn’t, specially with kids. You may well wake up and the whole family immediately wants you … Mum! Where’s my … or I want my whatever. And our partners can be just as bad, sometimes it feels like they never did grow up!
So how can you possibly take time out for Nature? And for 30 whole days? “You’re havin’ a laff, Elen!” Well no, actually I’m not.
Giving is good. Giving endlessly, without any respite of receiving, is not good, and that for several reasons.
